All paths adhere to the following table when calculating ranks or promotions. Titles are based on your points accumulated as seen in the chart above by your Star Points or Clan Points. There is a 30 day probation period that is applicable. Any earned points that are accumulated during this period will be calculated and added but promotions will be awarded AFTER  the probation time is over.

Please use this section to help you answer questions in regards to earning points and other questions regarding our points system. Points can be earned each month in the following manner below.

<> How to get Rank Raises <>

Rank Raises:

Rank raises can be earned in one of two different ways:

<> Through your Clan Points that you earn

<> Through your Star Points that you earn.

Please reference the above ranking system chart to see if you have qualified for any rank raises based on either your Clan Points or Star Points.

<> Participation in Clan Hunts and Events <>

Clan Hunts:

<> 10 Clan Points & 40 Star Points will awarded to you for every full 120 minute family hunts.

<> 7 Clan Points & 30 Star Points will awarded to you for every full 90 minute family hunts.

<> 5 Clan Points & 20 Star Points will awarded to you for every full 60 minute family hunts.

<> 2 Clan Points & 10 Star Points will awarded to you for any hunt under 60 minutes to a minimum of 30 minutes. 

<> 1 Clan Point & 5 Star Points will awarded to you for any hunt under 30 minutes.

If you attend a hunt and must leave for whatever reason, you will still be awarded points. If you must leave early due to IRL ( In Real Life issues ) and have less than 30 minutes in the clan hunt you still can earn partial points of 1 Clan Point and 5 Star Points

  Please be aware that there are 5 levels of possible clan points that can be awarded to you depending on the amount of time the host runs the hunt. Always remember to N-Mail your Path Leaders to get points, hosts are not responsible for your points but will give you a courtesy reminder to N-Mail your respective Path Leaders.

Events:

<> 5 Clan Points & 10 Star Points for each Clan Event you particpate in Clan Community

<> 0 Clan Points & 100 Star Points for Events that you host, assist in addition to the regular points described above.

**** You must host at least 2 Events a week to get the above points ****

<> 10 Clan Points & 100 Star Points for Special N-Mail Events we will have bi-weekly. This event will only be available to Kindred and is called: SanSin Star Chasers Quests...Can you catch the star? Where can you find them? You will have to go to the SanSin Clan Forum Board to be able to get the quest and then N-Mail your Path Leaders upon completion.

Recommending New Family Members:

<> For recommending new family members ( yes, this also means your alts ), Kindred family members will receive points. those points are as follows:

For recommending 1 person - 10 Clan Points & 10 Star Points

For recommending 2 people - 20 Clan Points & 40 Star Points

For recommending 3 or more people - 30 Clan Points & 100 Star Points

**** Please keep in mind in order to get credit for 2 or more people, they must be admitted within the same day *****

What are the rule to getting the new members into the clan and getting your points?
The potential members to the family must be Registered, Buyan, Level 50 (+) and No Red Marks. Make sure that you go to the Clan Forums Board after and make sure that the post has your name under the section called, " Referred By ". Always make sure that you send an N-mail to Zanna or if your a poet to MickeyLady,  to get credit.

Donations:

Star Points will be awarded to you for items that are donated to the clan. Please see the section titled Donation Points List for the list of current items and points.

<> For every 1,000 coins you donate you can earn 1 Star Point.

Please be aware items must be "useful" in nature and an item that you or your fellow kindred may utilize ( ex. for event prizes, spells, hand items, weapons, helms or sellable at an NPC. )

 Discounts:

Kindred are eligible to receive family discounts and must have completed their probation period & be of the 2nd rank. In order to get an item from the bank, go to the clan report section and look for council members with banking rights. Prices and discounts will be discussed prior to exchange and then done through your Exchange option. The discounts are for kindred only and must be purchased on your character that is in clan.

When purchasing items from the Clan Bank please be weary of the quantities. If the item you desire is in the bank,  you must make sure we have a minimum of 2 of such items. At times we may do a bank clearnace to empty the contents of bank to make room for better items. When this occurs Kindred will always have first choice and remainder will be announced to the community.

Maximums:

*Maximum points that a kindred can earn a month is 500 Clan Points. 
*There will me no maximums to the amount of Star Points you wish to earn..
*Maximum discout that can be attained is 50% of market prices.

<> Clan Alternates and Title Options <>

Clan alternates that are added may be given the title of "Mirrored Soul".

What does this mean and how do I get my alternates in the clan?

When you choose to join SanSin, you can add any alternates you like. If you choose to maintain only one character then you can select the title of "Mirrored Soul", signifying to your kindred that this is an alternate character. All points that are accumulated under this character will apply toward your main character only. Make sure that if you hunt under you alternate character you N-Mail your main character's Path Leader with the name of your Mirrored Soul so your points can be applied appropiately.

What happens if I add an alternate as a Mirrored Soul but want a different name?

If you add an alternate character as a "Mirrored Soul" and  you want to have a different name you must speak to either the Primogen or Primarch. All requests will be reviewed by the Primogen and Primarch and approved titles will also include the initials "MS" signifying Mirrored Soul. DO NOT ask other Council Members to change your modified clan titles or you will lose your custom title. Changes to your Custom Title can be made throughout your membership with SanSin with approvals only as described above.

What if I want to add my alternates to the clan but want them to accumulate points?

 In order to add your alternate characters as regular kindred, you will need fill out an application. Any points you accumulate will be applied to your character accordingly. Please keep in mind that your clan title will be StarDrop until new ranks are earned.
